EcoKaari’s Upcycling Experience Tour

 

Do you want a hands-on experience with sustainability? Come and Experience with EcoKaari’s Artisans the art of Upcycling single-use Waste Plastic on Charkha and Handloom!

We offer two types of tours:

1. See and experience the Charkha and Handloom; the Upcycling Process
   Donation: ₹500/- per person
   Duration: 30 minutes.
2. Experience the Upcycling Process (Weaving)
   Fee: ₹1500 + 18% GST (₹1770/- per person)
   Duration: 1-3 hours (depending on group size and participant age)
   This includes:
   • Raw materials
   • Refreshments
   • A product made from the fabric you weave on the Charkha and Handloom

 

What to Expect:

• An introduction to how EcoKaari upcycles single-use waste plastic like carry bags, food wrappers, and even cassette tapes.
• Hands-on activities, including plastic segregation, cutting, and weaving on Charkha and Handlooms.
• A chance to observe our product design and tailoring process.
• Special discounts on EcoKaari’s Upcycled-Handwoven Products, exclusively for tour participants.

 Who Can Join:
Individuals of all ages, groups, students, and corporates are welcome! We tailor our sessions to your experience level, from beginners to advanced.

Here is a schedule: 

• Interact with our Team over refreshments and understand why EcoKaari – Humanising Fashion was started – the 5W and 1H (What, Why, When, Where, Who, and How).

• Work with Artisans:
  • Segregation of waste plastic (pre-cleaned plastics)
  • Cutting off the waste plastic using scissors
  • Weaving on Charkha and Handlooms
  • Observe the product designing and tailoring process of making the final EcoKaari Upcycled-Handwoven Products.
  • You can also shop for EcoKaari’s Upcycled-Handwoven Products with a special discount code for all the workshop participants.

Important Notes:

• An adult should accompany individuals under 18.
• A parent must accompany children below 12.
• Workshops are pre-booked and require advance payment.
